There was always silence this early in the morning. The brief time where none of the two occupants in the room were studying or doing otherwise. Where sleep actually occurred. It was nice. Until of course;

The silence was torn apart by the loud girlish voice crying out from the still half asleep teen's phone on his bedside table.
A struggled out of his blankets and fumbled blindly to grab it before the lump in the bed across from his got up first.. and if he did he could consider his life ended right there; Or less dramatically, a pillow to the face.

Quickly turning the alarm off, A slumped against the wall and exhaled gratefully. It appeared B was still asleep. Actually this was a pretty good opportunity.
He turned his phone back on and crawled to the edge of his bed, snapping a picture of the lump in the other bed.

"Heh."

Everything was fine, nice, sweet, and silent, time for quiet peaceful sleep which should not be disturbed until at least another hour has passed. However today was not the day when such a thing would happen. Luckily for the both occupants of the room B was not a light sleeper, however he wasn't exactly the type who could sleep through the end of the world either. Even if end of the world was a bit of an extreme comparison to A's alarm, it didn't particularly matter at this time of the morning. 

B woke up forwards the end of the segment that was played, groggy and annoyed, laying still in hope to get some more sleep until the rest of the house would get up and noise would become impossible to escape. He was not granted with such luxury as the bed on the other side of the room made a noise indicating that his roommate had gotten up. The footsteps told him that he walked over to his bed, and whatever that little "heh" was warning him about B was certain he wouldn't like it. 

"A, no."

Oops. The little sound he had made crossing the room hadn't been quiet enough. Of course not. B would wake up if a spider crawled across the floor in total silence. It didn't matter now though, A got what he wanted, and without injury as well. He could call this a success for once. Getting pictures of B ( regardless of if he could see his face ) was like trying to pick a rat out of a snake's mouth. Pain and misery. But this lump of blankets would do nicely.

"Why do you hate that song so much? It's from a cute anime." He questioned the blanket covered B as he returned to his side of the room to pick his clothes out for the day. "You'd like it if you watched it."

B sighed heavily as he fidgeted to turn his blanket burrito to face A. He was all wrapped up in the blanket, despite the 80 degree heat outside. I'm going to need a shower. It would be so much easier if sleeping under only bedsheets like plenty of other kids did, was not so uncomfortable for him. He just felt rather vulnerable sleeping under them without a heavy blanket on top.

"I don't hate it in general. I hate it at 6 something in the morning. It's a different thing. " Especially so when it woke him up. Through as B watched A get his clothes out it was clear that he was not going to get his good sleep, so grumbling to himself about how mornings are for sleeping he untangled himself from the blanket, and crawled out of bed. "I'm going to shower first." His clothes from yesterday, which were deemed clean enough in the evening, were laying on the chair and he picked them up.

"Well I have to be up at 6 in the morning. I can't leave it on vibrate or anything. I'd never hear it. Unlike you I sleep pretty heavy."

A frowned but made no argument when B declared he was to shower first. However, when he noted the clothes his roomie had planned to wear, he wrinkled his nose.
"You're not going to wear those are you? You wore them yesterday."

"They are still clean." He shrugged, stopping at the bathroom door to look over at A, raising an eyebrow. Of course he'd have some opposition to wearing same clothes twice in a row, which B actually did more than A probably noticed, since his wardrobe wasn't boasting variety of clothes anyways. Same pastel shirts and blue jeans in the summer and oversized sweaters and pants in the winter. "I haven't done anything to them to make them dirty so I don't see the problem."

"You wore them. That makes them dirty." A scoffed, keeping his face scrunched up in partial disgust, mostly annoyance. He stalked over to his room mate and snatched the clothes from the other teen.
"If you're out of clean clothes just borrow some of mine. Jeez."
He tossed the dirtied clothes into the hamper in the corner of the room and pulled open his dresser drawers. "Take whatever you want."

B rolled his eyes, watching his clothes disappear in the hamper. "No it doesn't. And I have my own clothes, just don't see the need for the orphanage to waste water when I can wear the same thing two days in the row because it is not dirty." However he does give in and go to pull out his own drawer to take out a pale pink t-shirt and a new pair of jeans and underwear. "Happy now?" He grumbles, looking over at his roommate.

It would be an understatement to say A was pleased when B gave in and agreed to do things his way. Though he certainly never imposed it on other students, whether out of fear or simply due to no connection to them as he had with B, it wasn't clear either way. He took out a pair of knee length shorts and a graphic tee in light gray, rubbing his eye with his free hand.
"Just save some hot water for me too okay?" He tossed his clothes on his bed, beginning to unfasten his pajama shirt. "Otherwise I'll go in there with you." He added, joking sort of entirely.

Since the small argument over clothes came to an end B headed to the bathroom once more. Pausing in the doorway to smirk back at A. "You are more than welcome to join." Before disappearing in the bathroom, closing but not locking the door, just like usual. Previously living in orphanages with communal showers, he was not worried about anyone walking in. He pulled off his pajamas and turned on the shower while he did other business, so the water has a chance to heat up and doesn't freeze him the moment he walks into the shower.

He wouldn't allow B the satisfaction of seeing him flush red in the face, so he quickly turned his back to him until he heard the door click shut. With his room mate now in the bathroom, A relieved himself of his pajama shirt, dropping it into the hamper with B's old clothes and moved to the window. Drawing the curtains back, he squinted out into the light. The sun was finally up at least. He opened the window, hoping for a breeze but was disappointed.
"It's another humid day!" he called towards the bathroom as he perched on his bed and grabbed the book he'd been reading last night before falling asleep.

"Seriously?! Why is life so unfair?" Beyond whined dramatically from the bathroom before finally going to take a shower. He took about ten minutes in it. Turning it off and drying off. B pulled on his boxers but he also wrapped towel around his waist and picked up his pajamas and as he walked out of the bathroom. "All yours." He nodded over at the bathroom door, dropping the pajamas and yesterday's underwear into the laundry. Estimating the time it takes for A to become terrified and escape to the bathroom as he reaches to take off the towel, placing the clothes he should put on, on the side of his bed.

He'd barely looked up to see B walk into the room, towel wrapped around his waist before his face went scarlet. A took two seconds to breathe in, then quickly dropped the book, disregarding its condition like he always did when he was taking off in terror or more often, embarrassment. His feet hit the ground and he ran the few steps to the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind himself and locking it.
"That's not funny, B!!!"

B's laugher rang through the room as the door slammed shut. "I on the other hand think it's very funny." He informed A once he finally was able to stop laughing. Sighing off the remains of the laugher, and still chuckling to himself a bit he set the towel aside and pulled on his jeans, buttoning them up he walked over to the window. There were some clouds in the sky, but they didn't seem to make the sun shine any less, nor did they make it any hotter and more pleasant outside. Shaking his head he moved over to make his bed, then decided to also make A's.

A sighed heavily as he twisted the taps to the shower. Due to B finishing his just before, the water warmed up quickly. He took off his pants and underwear and climbed in, shutting his eyes while the water soaked his thick hair and smooth skin. Sometimes he wished there were bathtubs. A nice hot bubble bath would do wonders for him. Plus he could buy those nice soaps from the shop in town.. A shook his head and finished his shower quickly, not wanting to spend too long there, lest he get distracted by the millions of thoughts that raced through his mind at any given moment.
He dried his hair with a smaller towel and wrapped the other around his waist. Once he was dry enough he slid his underwear on and sheepishly headed out to the room again.
A was speedy in dropping the towel and dressing fully. One would think he was rushing because he didn't want to be late for something, but for A, it was all about not being red faced around B.
Sitting on the edge of his newly made bed, A began to comb through his damp hair, glancing briefly at his room mate.
"Thanks for making my bed."

B had pulled on his shirt before A walked in and was now looking over and filing the papers due today into their respective folders. "No problem, some time saved for you." He glanced over, smiling at the other boy. Watching A comb his hair made B realize how curly his is going to become once its dry, and that it was probably about time to dye it again, the white roots were starting to show. His thoughts moved to if he had the money to afford another set of hair dye. Wammy house had a really interesting system that allowed its student's to earn their own money for their own personal use. Though B didn't take advantage of it much.

A was certain he never said it enough but he was incredibly grateful to have B for a room mate. They were both so alike in many ways that they almost seemed to operate like they were one person. But their differences were another thing that made him happy. He appreciated B, respected him. In his train of thoughts, A's combing came to a stop and his hand fell on his lap.
"I mean it. Thank you. I couldn't have got a better room mate.." His head lowered and his hand raised to twirl his fingers in his hair. "...and friend." he added in a more hushed, shy tone.

That made B narrow his eyes at A a little, letting go of the papers he was holding so they lay back on the desk. "Are you okay?" Those little moments A had always worried B because he never could really understand why his room mate reacted like that to simple things such as helping up with homework organization or making a bed. He left the papers on the desk to go over to where A was sitting. "Don't worry about it really."

A blinked in surprise by the sudden company he found himself on his bed. His personal space didn't really exist around B anyways. Not that it was a bad thing or that he minded.
Have I made him worry now? Not the best way to start the morning, Alisx. Honestly..
"I'm fine." he insisted, shaking his head and bringing a smile to his face. "I just feel like I don't tell you thank you for the things you do often enough that's all. I don't want you thinking i'm some unappreciative dick."

"Are you sure?" He asked quietly, still slightly worried. "Well either way I definitely don't think that you are some unappreciative dick." Beyond smiled back, not liking when A got all quiet like this. "In fact I think you already thank me too much for simple things. None of them are troublesome for me to do." Getting up again B, shrugged slightly, unsure if any of that would convince A. In his experience it usually didn't, as sad as that was. And if someone was an unappreciative dick in this friendship it would probably be B in the first place.

A nodded, laughing a little at his own ridiculous habit of making other people worry. "I'm sure. Promise. You know how I am, I get concerned about simple things. It's hardwired in my nerd brain." He finished combing his hair then, setting the small plastic thing on top of his dresser.
"What did you want to do today? The first half of the day is free at least.. oh, unless you've got classes?" He rubbed the back of his head. Maybe I should be taking more classes too. I have free time...

"Hmm, well I have French in about an hour. So I do have an hour free, which I was planning to spent sleeping. " However for obvious reasons the plans would be able to happen now. "So I don't have anything else I wanted to do." He got up off the bed, and unable to resist it, ruffled up the still damp hair which A just combed neatly. Even damp it was still soft and B really liked touching it, through didn't allow himself that much, too much physical contact always seemed to embarrass and fluster A.

"Well you can sleep if you w- agh!" A turned part turtle and shrunk down into his shirt when B's fingers went through his hair. It sent a shiver down his spine, which he attributed only to the fact he was still cold from getting out of a warm shower, not anything else of course.
Trying to recover from his moment of fluster, he straightened up again and raced his own fingers through his hair, trying to make it neat again.
"Anyways.. as I was saying, you can sleep if you want. I'll come back and wake you for your class."

B laughed quietly at the reaction, just as always amused by it. Especially sight of A trying to tame his hair back into place was rather amusing. He moved back to his desk to finish up the folder. "Nah. We can go outside if you want. " He shrugged, putting the folder with the books for his classes today, which were already stacked on the desk, probably way too close to the edge of the said desk. "Alright I am done with this." He turned back to see if A has sufficently recovered from the hair ruffling.
