Name: Touta Matsuda
Alias: Taro Matsui

Personality: Not the brightest person in the world, but he knows his place and can be a very good friend. Touta is unpredictable - which can be a good, as well as a bad thing. He may come across as reckless and naive - which he is. Sometimes it seems like he doesn't take his job seriously enough, but he does it as best as he can and always feels the need to proof himself. He likes to have fun and hates paper work.
Physical Description:
Touta is Japanese and has black hair and brown eyes. His hair ends just above his shoulders. He has a normal build and is in almost everything 'average'. His normal dress-up is a blue suit with red tie.
Height: 174 cm
Weight: 59 kg
Backstory: As a child he wasn't the smartest either, nor was he the dumbest. He was always in the middle and didn't really stand out in anything. His dad drank and that later was the reason of his death. Touta's mom is still around but he barely speaks with her, just as he did in the past. Before his dad pasted away - his dad was an old cop who started drinking after a heavy case, something that later also happened to Touta - he helped his son get into the police force with his connections. Actually Touta had wanted to do something different, but he accepted the job at the force because he hoped he would stand out with it and impress his dad. His dad passed away before he could actually begin working and his mom really didn't care much for such a career.
So he used to be a detective back in Japan, but after having dealt with a case that hit him very hard, he quit because of PTSD. – The case had cost years and had ended with him shooting the culprit who had been his friend. – Touta would have decided to go back to the force if it had not been for L – someone who he had worked under. Instead of going back to the Force and possibly pushing himself with his PTSD, he came to Wammy’s House. At the House he helps with counseling and – as an ex-member of the Japanese police – help with law and criminology.
